Learning Centers Learning centers are a part of the discovery play time. This allows the children to choose what kind of activities they would like to play. While playing, they are learning important skills. Some of the learning centers are listed below: Block and construction area--Children learn cause and effect, shapes and sorting, and working together in a community Art-- Children learn to draw and write Library--Children learn the joy of reading Math and Manipulatives--children use puzzles and other items to learn sorting, counting, and fitting together Nature and Science--children play with animals and learn about God's creation Pretend Play-- Children learn about real life such as cooking, tool building and being "mom's" and dad's" Chapel Once a month, we are planning a preschooler's chapel service. This will include children's Bible illustrations, puppets, songs and games geared toward preschool age children to help them learn about God. Family involvement We welcome family involvement! If you would like to volunteer or just come visit, you are always welcome. Any parent who would like to volunteer on a regular basis, must fill out a background release form. We are always needing volunteers to help on chapel day and special occassions.
